Having full control of your domains is something really important and being able to access and edit the DNS records for every single one of them is one of the things you have to look for when you search for a registration or a cloud hosting provider. Maybe you have heard of the so-called “name servers” that show where a domain is hosted, but below them there is a whole group of records, like the A record, which is the IP address of the server hosting the site, and the MX records, which show the server that manages the e-mails for a particular domain name. These records are used if you want to have your site with one service provider and the emails with another, for example. You can also use a domain name for a non-website service or forward the traffic to it using special records. A lot of companies ask for an additional payment to grant access to edit specific DNS records besides the name servers.

Full DNS Management in Cloud Hosting

You are going to have 100 % control over the DNS records of your domain names and subdomains with any one of our cloud hosting. Using the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, you're going to be able to access an easy-to-use tool where you can see all current records or set up new ones with no more than a few clicks. In addition to the standard A and MX records, you can set up CNAME, TXT, SRV, and you could even set up private name servers for any domain name that is registered with us. The custom records will provide you with a lot of overall flexibility and will allow you to do things such as hosting a subdomain on our servers while the main domain is hosted somewhere else or the other way around, using a third-party e-mail service, and so forth. We will never ask for any fees from you to be able to manage the DNS records of your domain addresses and the service comes by default with all shared plans.

Full DNS Management in Semi-dedicated Servers

The semi-dedicated servers are controlled using our in-house designed Hepsia hosting CP and one of its features is an easy-to-use DNS records tool where you can see all current records for every domain address or subdomain you host in the account. With only a couple of clicks you're going to be able to modify any existing record or create a new one should you need it for any purpose. This will enable you to pick the provider for each individual service - for instance, for a given domain address you could have the web site here, the emails through a second company plus a VOIP service that uses the same domain address as a host through a third one. Our system will enable you to change or create any sort of records that you need - NS, A, MX, CNAME, TXT, SRV, AAAA, and so forth., and we'll never ask for any fee to be able to access and manage these records as other providers may do.
